The Asociación Nuevo Amanecer owns a large plot for its education purposes in the village of La Venta. Teaching takes place in different buildings. For the vocational training classes, there are well-equipped workshops and classrooms. Furthermore, we encourage exercise with regular physical education on our sports fields.
Some of the children who attend school travel long distances to La Venta, and we serve them lunch in our two canteens. The schoolyard and the playgrounds are spacious, and everyone enjoys them during breaks.
The old orphanage houses, which are situated on the school premises, have been converted to classrooms for our Middle School.
“I had the chance to learn two professions at Nuevo Amanecer: I did an apprenticeship in Sewing and one in Computer Science. Currently, I am studying Educational Science at the university. Up to now, particularly the computer skills I acquired have been very useful. My time at Nuevo Amanecer has been the very best experience for me: I have learned so much! Thanks to this training, I have found my current job and I can use my professional skills efficiently. For the future, I would like to open my own Preschool – a Preschool with the same modern and high-quality teaching methods I experienced myself. These are my plans for the future.”
